By having the motor shaft constrained in the bearing, you make the dampener somewhat useless !

No, not even a little. The motor is still mounted to the upper layer of the vibration isolation material and the motor mount is located in the lower layer. The bearing doesn't constrain the shaft in the Z axis, so it is free to release the vibrational energy in that axis. The upper section itself can also be further vibration isolated if you wish, but the entire point of the vibration isolation pad is to prevent motor vibration transfer into the frame, which this device does not prevent. Are you losing maybe 1% efficiency here? sure. but overall the added mass to the custom mount and the reduced strain on the shaft should actually reduce vibration more than any loss you might incur,
