Awesome! I love being able to pump out hinges that don't require any extra steps after print. Modified your original design for a bunch of varying sizes and number of screw connection.

You should post your remixes. :D

Turned out perfect with my Fabrikator mini II. No need for extra space.
Thanks

Worked for me. Printed on a hypercube. It definitely could use a little extra space between the pieces but after giving it a descent amount of force, it broke free and is working great. Thanks!

Yep doesn't work, too tight. Printed on a well calibrated cr10s

Unfortunetely it does'nt work ! It is completely bloqued ! There's no gap between the moving parts.

Might be worth doing some calibration checks on your printer. I run pretty tight tolerances, but it is printable on even a cheap printer (wanhao i3 plus).

You could also try scaling it up 2x, which would also double the tolerances.

Printed twice with 2 different printer (Prusa I3 mk2 and Hypercube Evolution), both printer well calibrated. The hinge is too tight and the results weren't functional. The design is really great, but you should really consider adding a version with more space between moving parts.

to make it better you should move the bolt holes to where the teeth are on it so the bolts don't obstruct the movement

Thanks. I’ll probably do something along those lines when I revisit/reuse this design.
