Awesome! Your model has been chosen as one of the Top 3D Printed Christmas / Holiday Models this year. Search "Top Free 3D Printed Christmas Gift 2015 Printing Ninja" to see. (sorry thingiverse bans url addresses)

When we go to print this, it seems to want to try to fully print a single raft and then it goes to move onto the rest of it but the platform has already lowered so it won't print. Any recommendations?

You need to use support as well as a raft because the bottoms of the pipe sections are all overhanging. If you have trouble with that try printing http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:267119http://www.thingiverse.com/thi.... It is a version designed for easier printing. It sacrifices a bit of "pipelikeness" for the sake of printability.

Brilliant. Awesome! Good work, really like it. Thank you for sharing

Try http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:277990http://www.thingiverse.com/thi... for a simplified version of the splash. It is a little less splashy, but it has none of the overhangs around the perimeter.

Easier to print fluid splash for iPad holder

my printer (prusa mendel) has a big problem with the overhanging parts on the outside of the splash.

Where is the print failing? I never bothered with support on this one. The edges are a little ragged as you can see in the picture, but it doesn't bother me with this thing. The main jet of water always prints fine for me.

Hello. I have a problem to print the splash. With or without support material it doesnt work. It was great when you can make the splash easier to print.

For you guys who are already listeners to "3D Printing Today" I have posted an improved version without the branding: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:267119http://www.thingiverse.com/thi...

There it is!! So Cool!

I'd like that too. I appreciate the work effort and your desire for branding, but I'd like to see a "clean" version as well.
