Flys very very well. The don't need that much space. Definitely great for Indoors.

What plastic do you use?

I've just made one of them. It works very well!
I used:
.2 layer thickness
100% infill
no supports
no bed adhesion
first layer: 240° - 100° bed - 10mm/s speed
other layers: 230° - 90° bed - 40mm/s speed

Awesome boomerangs. I have made many from .6 to 1.6 scale. The bigger ones need more room to fly. The 'fun' size is somewhere between .8 and 1 scale. It also helped me fine tune my first layer and extrusion settings. I used abs, printed in various layer thicknesses from .1 to .3. Octagram spiral is one of the best fill patterns for strength, especially at the airfoil bends, also so you dont break it when catching and bending it by accident. Its best to bend the airfoil hot off the build plate, that way they dont crack when cold.
You should note in the instructions that the airfoil needs to be bent. I didnt realize it until I watched your video. I was shooting the boomerang into my walls the first time I tried it, lol.
