how did you do the lead?

I used flat sheet, and bent it into shape with a vice.

Where can I buy it?

i spent lots of hours trying to desing a lure like this but i was so far to do it as perfect as yours so thank you for saving me more hours.
Wich software did you use to design it? i tryed with AutoCad but it was imposible for me.

Thanks so much! I used Fusion 360, it’s free for non commercial use.

Also I recommend a natural colour scheme with gold paint, rather than fluorescent colours.

Good luck.

Nice design mate, I gather you are in Australia based on the southern calamari?
Might have to give these a go myself

Yep mate, this one was taken on the Busselton Jetty. The best colour I've found is the one I posted as a make on this thing. https://www.thingiverse.com/make:414131 If the squid are there, they'll take this pattern more than any other.

Fantastic! Thanks for posting this up. I will get around to giving these a crack one I have ordered the barbs in.
I am from Victoria and fish mostly Westernport Bay. Will post a make photo up and if I manage to hook some squidies ill post a photo of the catch also.
Thanks again and tight lines.

Thanks for the contribution. This gonna be a good present for a friend.

I greatly appreciate this model, since there is no such thing in thingiverse, is it scanned or designed by itself? does not indicate anything about buoyancy, for a balanced swimming, which padding recommends for a balanced swimming ???

Thanks for the comment.

I designed this myself.

The target weight is 16 grams, and it swims correctly. It rests on the bottom with the tail up, as it should.

Thank you very much for the information and for the design, I am an artisan and I do not know anything about design, if you want to see some of my works here you can see them
