Wago 222 terminal connectors – and their clear plastic 221 siblings – are great for interconnecting solid, stranded and fine-stranded wires of varying gauges. Plus there’s no screws to mess with, just lift the lever fully, insert wire(s) and close the lever. Done.
I used them in my ‘Quick-Detach LACK-top 12V Power Connector’ (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2614691) for power distribution to whatever I might wire into my enclosure.
This Thing is a cable harness and easy slide-off cover for the 5-conductor Wago 222 terminal blocks. There’s room for two in there – i.e. one for positive and one for negative power distribution.
- 2 – Wago 222 terminal connectors
- 2 – M5 screws for the harness (M6 would work as well with a little ‘convincing’)
- 1 – M6 screw for the notch in the slide-off cover (preferably with a big flanged button head)
Note Wago do sell a more elaborate “mounting carrier” for their 222s if you don’t feel like printing one. There’s also other Wago holders on Thingiverse without covers if you don’t mind looking at wires.
