This another Vase generator made in OpenSCAD.

This one creates low-poly vases with optional spikes.

I encourage you to play with the customizer or download and tweak the OpenSCAD file and find your nicest vase.

Also included a ZIP file with 50 STL's ready to print

You may find interesting my others vase-generators here and here

Hope you find it useful.
Have fun!!

ANET E10 + Creality CR-10

Print in Spiral-Vase mode.

Tips: Increase flow, reduce speed and use 3 or 4 bottoms. Another tip: If you have a small nozzle (0.3 or 0.4mms) can increase the 'wall width' to 0.5 or 0.6 to get a stronger surface

Hey, I wanted to print one of these for my little sister(7) and I have read the comments saying that you can use your own software (Cura for me) to slice it and take the top off. I could not find the tool in Cura to slice it because there was only a slice bottom tool and not slice top. would I have to download slic3r or could you help me use Cura?

Warm regards, Orion

In Cura, (custom setup) look for the 'special modes' section and check the 'spiralize' option. Automatically it slices using 1 perimeter and without tops. you can set the numbers of bottoms (3-4 recommended)

Why is the top closed? Is that supposed to be printable?

Models is ok! Use vase mode in slicer software

These are beautiful. I am new to this and just lost my job and I have a 3d Printer )Creality CR-10 Prusa I3) 12x12x14 build volume so I figured I would try to use it to bring in some money. I just made my first test print yesterday and it took hours to get it to come out right. I am trying to learn 123 D Design by Autodesk but I am struggling. I would love to know if you would be ok for me to use your designs to try to bring in some money to pay my bills any kind of tag I could put on it to give you recognition for your designs and for every sale I will gladly tip you as much as I can once I finally get the printer to get running smoothly. Untill then I am doing the only thing I know which is wood working, stone cabbing and faceting, and making fine jewlery which were just hobbies until I was laid off from my job three weeks ago. I am literally living in my workshop that is 256sq ft and has a bathroom, no kitchen, no ac or head and massive mold problems with my 10 year old retired PTSD service great dane that is 166lbs, so I wont be able to give much at first but I would like to give you some recognition and let people know who designed this. Also Where did you get the transparent filament and what kind of filament is it? I probably cant afford it right now but I am in love with the look of it and have never seen it before! Please let me know how you would like me to engrave your name or logo or tag so I can give you credit for your stunning designs and if you have an instagram page or facebook of your designs that people can pick from and the more I sell the more I can give you If you are interested in that. I will not sell anything if you are not interested in my proposal. I have been self funding two charities (one to help people stop smoking) and one for the ASPCA, severely injured pets whos families cannot afford the vet bills, and other rescues, as my service dog was in HORRIBLE shape what I rescued her and about 20k dollars later I trained her (with assistance of my mentor-I trained dogs for 12 years- to be my service dog and I wouldnt be alive if it wasnt for her. I didnt mean to tell you my life story but I just thought I would give you a little background on what kind of person I am and that I want you understand that I would never use any of your custom designs without your permission or without giving you money from the sales -and some kind of tag or name engraved and any online portfolio you may have that I can put on the tag. Please let me know. Im stunned by your designing abilities.

I look forward to your response regardless of what it may be. I still have a long way to get my printer to work properly so It will be a while before I can get perfect prints out.

The transparent filament it's 'Crystal Clear Iceland Blue' from Fillamentum (Fillamentone in USA). Very nice filament. a good choice

Feel free to sell prints with my designs. (Just keep the STL files free) for me it's ok that you try to earn some money offering printing services.
You may tag me on Twitter or Instagram (@ferjerez3d) when upload some pictures of my stuff printed. I'm happy to see how other people prints my designs.
Good luck!!

how i print holow piece?

my 3d printer print a solid piece

Depending of slicer software you may have a 'spiral vase mode' option or 'spiralize countour'.
You need to activate this modes and print only the perimeter. (check the layers view before printing)

good luck!

Sir, I have to tell you that those are beautiful vases

Could you make a file without a top, and one or two perimeters?

You may configure in your slicer (Cura, S3D...)

hey whats the tall black vase file called in the first image?

It's Cylinder5.stl stretched in the slicer
