Print Thing TagSummary
I made this to try out a hybrid R188 spin bearing. It still uses cheaper 608 bearings on the perimeter. Happy bearing cap included. Because, you know, there aren't already enough spinner models out there.
Marked a work in progress because the main body wants to be .5-1 mm thicker and I'll do that at some point. When I do I'll upload and mark final.
2017/11/15 update: I finalized the dimensions of spinner and cap; STLs updated.
2018/01/22 update: I added V2 STLs sized for printing in ABS. My PLA spinners broke over time and I think ABS is going to last longer. I also updated the spinner body to print without supports, and added a lip inside the R188 hole so you can seat the bearing down against the lip. The V2 cap is longer due to the deeper bore for the bearing. Happy spinning!
