The wife wanted some extra cupboard space so... REPRAP TO THE RESCUE!!

I have included two STL files. The small was designed for spice containers around 39.2mm, and the large for the taller 44.8mm diameter containers (see picture for brand examples). Also I have included the blender files to allow adjustments or modifications.

UPDATE:7/15/2012 - Added a second version of the large holder. The second version has a taller back. I found that this help if you have heavy spice containers.

The goal of this was to use very little plastic. The walls are 1mm thick and the base is .6mm thick. I printed this with a .5mm nozzle, PLA, and cold bed with blue tape. NOTE: the print is thin, so take care removing it from the plate.

I used a 3M double sided tape to attach the holder to the door.

I finally managed to print one of these (so many spices and my wife has been hounding me to get them organized....and she's right) but I was unable to actually fit any spice containers into the holder. I printed the small one, thinking it would fit the small McCormick spice containers...but it doesn't! The spice containers are too large. Should I use the Large file for those containers, like in the pictures provided with the original?

First thing would be to measure the spices you have. Ours possible that the containers have charged size since I created this. I posted each container size in the thing details. Happy printing

Wow if only I had learned at some point to read the instructions....thanks for the quick reply. Time to print the larger ones! Awesome file by the way. I was looking for something exactly like this once I decided to print some holders. Keep it up!

Love it, wife's going all feng sue (?) in the house and I've now got my excuse to keep my printer on kitchen table,

Look out! Cilantro is actually a deadly poison! :-).

Excellent! Thank you. I so need these. These are great with the different sizes.

Prints great! Double sided scotch tape is not strong enough (what was at the house), will go buy some 3m stuff and upload pics.

AWESOME! If you can try and find the 3M stuff shown in the one picture. It its thick, so it helps fill voids. Also removing is nice too, just grab a corner and pull, as it stretches it will release.

omg...gotta print these :*

Oh nice. Good thinking!
