This is a logicly working model of a human hip replacement.
An example for the idea of using repraps in medical applications.

And abit of fun too....

Try to avoid the Femoral artery when installing replacement. It is recommended to take one or two aspirin before hand to ensure a smooth setup process. Jig Saw, Knife and Staple Gun are purely for installation and not for thingi assembly.

I sort of want to print this to show my dad who is going in for surgery in July. He could hand it to the doctor. ;-)

I am trying to print one similar to the Stryker tritanium hip. Will this one rotate in the same manner as the tritanium?

Do not take the aspirin first! It will thin the blood and cause more bleeding. ;)

Uhh... DIY....
I'm not sure I want to remove my own hip and then replace it with printed plastic parts...
