It looks like WALLE's cousin....

I have uploaded a video in case you want to see this design being used in a small robotics workshop:

Combine this with Modkit (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/modkit/modkit-electronics-arduino-for-everyone)http://www.kickstarter.com/pro... and it should be awesome. Like a Lego Mindstorm, but you can make it yourself!

You are right! Thanks for the link.

I will give Modkit a test over the summer :-D

Minibloq (http://blog.minibloq.org/)http://blog.minibloq.org/) is another visual programming tool you might want to have a look at.

You might want to have a look at the Babuino Project also,

(http://c-minds.com/)http://c-minds.com/) which is a Logo interpreter for the arduino that can be used with a Logo visual programming environment.

Thanks to both!

They all sounded nice, but it hasn't been possible for me to test:

  • Modkit: it is not open-source and has locked features (hardware configuration)

  • C-Minds: There is no OSX version :S

  • Minibloq: Probably the best candidate, but didn't worked for me...

Please let me know if anyone succeeds using some of these graphic programming software with Arduino :)

I know... your comment was 2 years back :)
But your bot still looks cool and I wanted to know if you found a working graphical solution for arduino.
As soon as my SmartRap infill problem is solved, I print your bot and try http://s4a.cat/http://s4a.cat/ with it.
