This is a night lamp cover that resembles Ghast (a monster from Minecraft) as real as possible.
This is something every Minecraft fan would love and it looks really cool in my opinion (you can judge from the photos for yourself).
NOTE: Lamp stand and bulb not included :)
NOTE: I used LED light bulb, because ordinary bulb could heat to much (I was worried about the heat that could potentially generate in the closed space, because the Head doesn't have any holes where hot air could go out. Just be mindful about that)
I bough a night lamp from a hardware store and replaced it's cover with mine (the hole in the Legs part matches size of lamp I used).
The size of the head is 20x20x20cm. The legs are slightly bigger in one dimension(but not more than 25cm I think).
Sources that I used when designing:
I used the game itself as well, to obtain how the Ghast looks like.
I draw the model in Fusion 360, I can upload source files in case of interest.
almost doesn't matter because of the thin walls (20%)
The Head and the Legs parts are made to be printed upside down.
All the parts are designed to be printed without support.
The sides of the Head part bent a little during the print (as seen on the photos). It might be because of the size of the print. It's big, but doesn't have structural stability.
I printed the Head, Head holder and Legs in white PLA, and Eyes and mouth I printed in grey PLA (but you can also DIY it somehow, just to cover the holes in the Head with something dark, could be cartwood or anything)
Top view of the Eyes and mouth stl file matches as if you'd look the Ghast, as it is when assembled, from the front.
Just put the pieces together
Eyes and mouth should click into place (bent the slightly and push the into place). Just have in mind, that it is possible that they wont fit perfectly or at all, because I made them according to my printer.
