This is a short version of the Cyborg Beast Gauntlets that I have been experimenting with. I made this design considerably more robust as Karuna (the young boy this was made for) has a small arm and the other designs just became too thin at this scale. I think the shorter gauntlet might be appealing to some wearers as well.

Hi, I have just printed the hand and fingers of the Cyborg Beast Remix (the orange and black version) and I feel that this gauntlet (Karuna's) would better suit the needs for the child I am making this for. I printed the hand and fingers at a 1.10 scale of the original (1.00 being the original). Will the same scaling version (1.10) for this gauntlet do the job?
By the way fantastic work.

Regards Sean

Yes, the scaling should be correct if I remember correctly. When I originally posted this I believe that I had the scale wrong, but I believe that I corrected this some time ago. If you want to check things, bring the gauntlet and the palm you are using into your slicing software and see if the gauntlet fits inside the palm section you used. Let me know if you have any trouble.

Thanks so much. By the way I am working on some new designs with the e-NABLE group that will be released in the coming weeks.

Brilliant, thanks for getting back so quick. Cant wait to see the new design's. I have followed Jeremy on 3duniverse as well and he has been a great help to with tips with some of the new materials and designs.
I will bring the two parts into Simplify3d tonight and check the positioning as suggested.
Best of luck with the designs.

Regards Sean

yes, Jeremy is the project major for the group of designers that I am working with. You can see one of the early prototypes of the new hand here: http://frankieflood.blogspot.com/2014/08/e-nable-20-hand.html

Help ! I was injured in a snow boarding accident and wear a very archaic brace to move my fingers and left wrist. Is it possible to change the design to fit my needs and regain the use of my left hand again ? Graciously

Murphywr, I think it might be possible depending on what you need. Do you have pics of your existing brace?

I love the direction the new hands are going. Less terminator , more friendly .
