Congrats! I thought you model was one of the best choices for a 3D Printed Christmas gift! I made a link from here: http://3dprintingninja.blogspot.com/2014/12/top-20-free-3d-printed-christmas-gifts.html

Very cute, love it!

Sooooooooo freaking cute makerbot!

i luv it soooooooooooooooooo much!!!!!!!!!!!

cutest octopus EVER!!!!!!!!

I have been printing this sea creature for a while now, both solid and hollow, on my CUBE. Of note, I also reduced it in size by about 75% and can print adorable little baby pusses!! When the print ends (using my CUBE and ABS plastic) there is always one little strand of plastic left, extending up from the babies head: it looks like one hair, and is quite humorous. This is an outstanding design. Everyone should print at least one.

Thanks for this great model. Also printed the top hat http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:166193

Printing with a Prusa i3 and using Slic3r. Thanks!

What fill pattern do you suggest?

Printed one at 200% (see pic here: http://www.thingiverse.com/make:39941http://www.thingiverse.com/mak... ) The thing is HUGE, about the size of a softball.

My mom had the greatest idea of modifying it to hold a pencil sharpener. It would be a bit disturbing to sharpen a pencil using an eyehole, so I don't really know how the whole thing would work.

Very nice cuteopus!

Can you upload the source file? What was this designed in?

Very cute. Our Rosie (8) has printed five, and counting... They colour well with Sharpie pens. Thanks.
