Nice pod! I'm looking at getting this frame and was wondering - what's keeping the pod on the frame? is it a press fit? if so, have you considered alowing it to be screwed down into the standoffs?

Also what's the stack height? as it looks really tight in there.

Thanks!

Hi!
The pod has space for 10mm tall standoffs which I epoxied on, so you can screw on and off the canopy as many times as you need.
I use 20mm M3 bolts to hold on the canopy.

You can fit a single 30.5 mm board in there, and if you need more clearance, just add some nylon nuts on the bolt holding the canopy in place, to lift the canopy up a bit. The clearance is limited by the full size camera, and not much else. I might make a micro camera version of this later.

my setup was CLRacing F4S FC, matek VTX-HV, XM+ receiver, runcam owl 2, robotdog 35A ESC (mounted under the arms), and DYS 2207 2600kv motors.

I finally got the canopy printer out of TPU and it turned out great. I printed it with 100% infill and the canopy is surpisingly rigid. The shape makes it so that the canopy does not give in when hit from above. The short standoffs will provide protection from side hits.
