What a nice design!
I would like to ask you if it is possible to gain access to your cad-file for the slot? I would like to remove tree slots at one end and build a new section for a power supply. Again, thanks for your previous files! :)

This is an awesome design. Do you think you would be able to do a remix for an intel nuc board as well? Would be happy to donate for your time

What screws would I use to attach a 3B+ to the cart?

EDIT: Nvm i found some, #4 3/8" work, it would work better if they were 1/4" though.

FWIW, I used some M3x8 button-head screws I had nearby. I drilled the mounting holes on the Raspberry Pi slightly larger with a #32 drill bit, and drilled the holes on the cart all the way through using a #40 drill, which allowed the screw to cut its own threads. The 8mm length screws run through the standoffs and well into the lower layers (about 1mm away from protruding), resulting in a more sturdy mount than stopping at the bottom of the stand-offs.

Aaugh! This is why you check the remixes before you print a bunch of the original.
Kudos for a cool remix - next rack I'll use this one for sure.


Thanks for providing these files. I'm really new to the 3d printing world. I want to try this project out. If i were to print all of the files provided is that all I need + X amount of carts ..? Is any other files needed? Where can I find the rack file?


If using 19" rack, you need to print:
1 x left mount
1 x right mount
15 x slot
15 x cart

Slots and mounts are then combined together with 3 x threaded rods. (You need to get the rods from local hardware store).
