great idea.. I was just designing something overly complex and kludgy to do exactly what you have done elegantly.

Thanks, I installed a switch next to the y tower and brought the wires up right next to the tower for them. Nice and easy and it produces a ton of light.

In my make I ziptied the LED's to the "LED Arm" because the tape sometimes pulls off.

Just sort of showing off what the ROSTOCK can do; by playing with the, part shape and internal support structure I am able to use a mostly hollow! part I printed on the Rostock Max to support another printer! The part pictured is a Tall as a Rostock MAX can print!

The lights will definitely help. I was starting to design a ball and joint clamp, but your solution is far more elegant. To make the structure an I (I-beam) would be great to!

PS What leds are you using, they look like 5630's?

I swapped the RGB LEDs in the picture for 2835 Daylight White LEDs and they really light it up.
