I really liked the skirt, but the camera I have in my Martian II is the Micro Swift 2. I needed a way to incorporate these two devices into one. So, I jumped on TinkerCad and took these two models and made them into one. Some editing was needed for the screw holes for the camera.
Also, I mirrored the skirt to put the opening on the other side since I have a capacitor sticking out that side. Simplify3D should easily mirror on the X axis to put the opening on the original side. (I don't know how to do it in Cura, sorry)
These two parts are what I used.
I haven't yet printed this, going to push it through tonight. I use a raft because for some reason, I have issues with first layer and for some reason, when I print a raft, everything prints properly.
I have printed a preliminary design where the screw holes weren't open with TPU. It felt weaker than I cared for. I would have to edit the layers to increase thickness of the walls. So, this one, I will be printing PET-G to get a rigid frame.
If anyone prints this, let me know your thoughts and any ideas that can be tossed in.
