You can check out my other puzzle designs at https://www.thingiverse.com/SOS1/designs most of which are for sale on my Etsy Shop, ShantisDesigns, at https://www.etsy.com/shop/ShantisDesigns. So, if you want to add this puzzle to your collection, but do not have a 3d printer, stickers, or just don't feel like assembling it yourself, then please visit my shop. And, if there is a puzzle on my Thingiverse page that you don’t see on my shop that you are interested in purchasing, just send me a message and I will put it up there for you to purchase.
This puzzle is a 3x3x5 axis cube. It is a 3x3 modification with a few extra cuts. You will have to use a spare core or purchase one. I used a moyu core from https://www.thecubicle.com/. This puzzle doesn't use springs, but you will need six M3 screws. I used 16mm length ones, but they could be shorter.
What to Print:
- Cap_1 (x4)
- Center (x6)
- MiddleEdge_2 (x1)
- MiddleEdge_3 (x1)
- Cap_2 , LowerCorner_1, LowerCorner_2, LowerCorner_3, LowerCorner_4, LowerEdge_1, LowerEdge_2, LowerEdge_3, LowerEdge_4, MiddleEdge_1, UpperCorner_1, UpperCorner_2, UpperCorner_3, UpperCorner_4, UpperEdge_1, UpperEdge_2, UpperEdge_3, UpperEdge_4 (all x2)
After printing all the pieces, you can assemble the puzzle and it will work, but if you want to improve the turning take the time to sand each piece. It will make the puzzle turn smoother and catch less. It will also helps the stickers adhere to the puzzle better.
