Nice design. Does the hinge work though??

Thanks, there is no hinge only the locking tabs

I made a remix of this for the MintySynth kit ( https://mintysynth.com/ ) but your license doesn't allow me to publish a remix. Is it perhaps an oversight? I would love to share with the community. (I'm confused as to why there's already a remix if Thingiverse doesn't allow me to).

Hi Daniel, I have opened the remix option, you can publish it today.

Hello, friends! What did I do wrong? Thing looks like a broken shrapnel or holey cheese!

Привет дружище A picture is worth a 1000 words lol

damn that's messed up, maybe it's your slicer software, does anyone know what is causing this?

I think it is in the program. looks cool, but it is not possible to close :)

Sorry but I think your printer is having issues, I have printed lots of them and they all fit perfectly, Can anyone that printed the box confirm if the lid closes? Thanks

I managed to close, but now can not open. I'm doing something wrong in Slicer. don't understand what exactly

its supposed to be very tight, if you want it a bit looser print it @103%

Good advice. Thanks.

My Pleasure :)

very cool stuff, I have to make a few of these kits

First I want to say I love your uploads!
I'm having problems with this thing.
It prints just fine in ABS.
However, the top lid will not fit on (to small) in it's standard size.
I changed the size of the lid from 1.0 to just at 1.001, such a MINOR difference.
It works with that tiniest of changes and will now lock right onto the bottom.
Except...now I can't get the lid OFF! lol

Hey Thanks, I print it in PLA and it fits just fine but the material should not matter as long as the lid and base are made of the same material, the rules of 3D printing are 101% gets you a tight fit and 103% gives you loose. use a butter knife to slide the sides of the lid off by working your way around.
