Anyone else unable to slice this without the print looking like this? I've tried using makeprintable, letting cura handle mesh repairs and tried to extrude it in meshmixer with no success :/

It's a mesh that's sliced and rendered on a special CAD software where it can be transfered onto a place like thingiverse or your printer in a form that is printable.

But my problem is that it isn't printable. Slic3r doesn't even display the model correctly and Cura spits out unprintable gcode because the model seems to have walls that are too thin, and do not get sliced, or some other mesh issue, resulting in massive gaps in the print (see photo above). Any solutions other than the ones I've already said?

If you just want it print that try sending it off to your 3D printer’s own software and check layers, and some softwares can auto correct issues like XYZPrinting does. If you have any further questions please contact me!

I see, I will get on to fix it up later tonight or make a new one that’s printable. Thanks for your advice!

Hey there! The fixed models you provided didn't work, I ended up using MakePrintable to repair the model and, from what I can see, it now slices nearly perfect! There are still a few mesh issues but they do not change the appearance of the print drastically.

Thanks for providing this model :)

How did you make this? Because I have been looking everywhere to learn how to 3d model vehicles.
