A sunny day, your friends are here, the barbecue is about to start filling the whole neighborhood with the perfect smell of grilled goodies. The only thing missing, a cold beer. But as soon as you open the bottle, you'll also need two free hands. So you start looking around for a free spot to place your beer, a difficult task. There are many dangers in the world of a defenseless beer, uneven terrain, moving people maybe it will fall over. Pesky wasps and insects that crave the cold elixir as much as you do. The discussion with friends which of the approximately five beer sitting on the desk belongs to whom.
But wait there is a solution, hanging from your belt, introducing:
If you need free hands you can drop your beer into the holster that is equipped with a loop to mount it to your belt. The beer never leaves your side, secure and even protected from the warm sun that threatens to heat it to the point of being undrinkable.
The holster is cut at one side to enable a effortless dropping in and out of the holster even with wet bottles that tend to stick.
If you want to secure your beer even more you can reinforce it with rubber rings in the cuts on the outside.
A must have for funny evenings, afternoons and parties. As a practical gadget or a conversation piece at the next event, the Beer-Holster is there, by your side ready to step in if need be.

The holster is designed to be printed with semi-flexible filament. The on used in the pictures is a Soft-PLA. It is not as flexible as something like ninjaflex so it can be printed with bowden printers as well, if your printer is calibrated well you don't even have to use special extruders that are designed for flexible filaments.
If you want to make your own, i would recommend you to use Soft-PLA, or the equivalent in material-properties and printability, Semi-Flex from the company of Ninjaflex.
Prints with Soft-PLA tend to get very hairy, so just fire up a heat gun or a lighter, a little heat gets rid of those fine fibers.
To get retract and restart distances right can be a real hustle, but if you use a wet piece of abrasive paper your can sand it very well.
