This is a motor mount and bearing block for installing a nema 17 and T8 lead screw on the Monoprice Select Mini.

Note: you will need to cut the metal surrounding the motor if you use the z spacer like me. This is easily done with the Dremel and won't compromise the structural integrity.

I think this is a great idea but would you have to make some changes to the firmware for the extra steps for z ? I ask because I to was thinking of doing this and changing out the motor so my z movements were faster. I have the hardware to do it but didn't know if i would need to edit the firmware or not.
