I only printed the mounts for limit switches, but they're great! Fit perfectly, and after printing in gray filament, they look like factory made. Great design.

I printed them for X and Y axis also in mirrored version, so I can have both the min and max range covered for those 2 axis.

One thing I realized after printing them, is that I needed the t-nuts... obviously ;)

Here are the ones I ordered:

  • M3 screws – for attaching the mounts to aluminum extrusions, purchase on Amazon set of M2 and M3 - https://amzn.to/2Qd3y10
  • M2 screws – for attaching the limit switches to the mounts, purchase on Amazon set of M2 and M3 (same link as above, set has both M2 and M3)
  • T-nuts – M3 size, purchase on Amazon - https://amzn.to/2wRuuL1

And here are the limit switches I used, they fit perfectly with those mounts:

Thank you for making and sharing such great design!

Hi Fantastic, Printed them all my 3018 now looks the business, I am struggling with GRBL though, is there any chance you could share your settings $$, I just cant get mine right, Thanks

Here are my settings, but please keep in mind I have the limit switches on both ends of X and Y axis (covering both min and max range). So if you have them only on 1 side, you may need to tweak those settings.

$21=1 – enable hard limits
$22=1 – enable homing cycle
$23=3 – invert X and Y homing direction – this one is optional, but I prefer to have the home set at the left side, closest to me on the bed

For more detailed description of the configuration, visit: https://github.com/gnea/grbl/wiki/Grbl-v1.1-Configuration

for bearing, 608zz is good ?? thanks. (sorry for my english)

This is a really great design. Good thinking!

I've just printed the mounts for the switches but am struggling to find any with 10mm hole pitch. Do you know what the model number is for the ones that you use? Thanks!

Bought these in the end: SS-5GL2

this is a really great collection of accessories, thank you for posting them!
