A frame to hold two small cameras for kite or balloon aerial photography. Designed for capturing simultaneous RGB and infrared photos for vegetation analysis. The upper frame can also be used with a single camera tray from the Redstone Rig. Files updated III/09/2015. Learn more at the KAPtery. Published under CERN OHL.
The camera tray and leg brackets need no support (the tray model has support incorporated). The tray model does not slice properly in Simplify 3D but slices well in MakerWare.
New files (III/09/2015) include bolt holes so very little drilling is required to assemble the rig. The KAPtery has detailed instructions and you can order hardware for assembling the rig. Learn about grassroots mapping at Public Lab.
