Thanks looks like the design is suitable for me.

What's you belt length 852mm?

belt length = 760mm

Thanks I am using the same setup

was thinking of using your design if it works to synch both z axis

Did it help with the balance of both z axis? I find I need to set my z axis after a whle

Yes the synchronization of the z axis is maintained by the timing belt
Now, I only adjust the heating plate when I change the nozzle
I hope it will satisfy you as much as me

how does this work as you have 2 stepper motors running in oppose to a single stepper motor.

Would this help with inbalances of z axis of 2 motors

thanks

Hello
There are two stepper at the top of the chassis.
At the bottom they are bearings, there are only two steppers synchronized by timing belt.

What a waste !
ONE motor is enough !
And if you need motors that big, something is wrong with your build, too much friction and binding.

I bought a kit of 5 stepper.
Rather than letting go of the 5th, I mounted it :)
