I know that there's a load of Catan boards, but this one is slightly different than others, hence the new posting. The first 9 files are .txt with some short explanations on quantities and what goes where. There are a few things contained that were designed by me. There are a lot more that are not, so if you feel like I left someone out (like an original designer) please let me know so I can place a remix link from their design. On parts I created, tinkercad was my poison of choice.
I felt like I had printed everything I wanted to and was just not sure what else I could print, until I mentioned the words volcano, and Catan to my apprentice. I made this for that apprentice as a trade for a 2017 NEC Code book, which is fair. 5 weeks later (over 300 print hours) and almost a mile (that's 1.6km for the rest of the planet), and I am ready to start one for my own family.
I upgraded my entire Anet A8 to dual extrusion using a ZRib 5.3 and Zonestar parts for ~ $115 US.
I was able to print the storage bins and lid without having to split it in half due to size. Should your printer be smaller, there are other remixes available.
