Hello! How was your makeup for your electrolyte? I would suggest 50g of copper, 60g of sulfuric acid and 100-130mg Chloride (add NaCl or HCL but make the math how much you need for the chloride) Sure I would add some additives, but if you can't get some that's ok.That would give you much better results. for the laquer you can use brass laquer, silver laquer or graphite laquer. Start with very low current density till you have a close copper surface. Agitation is very important. You can use air bubbles in the electrolyte or you can stir it or move the part itself. And don't forget: Plating is waiting ;) Have fun

I think removing the print with a solvent would be better than heat so either ABS or PLA could be used, but ABS is probably preferable because its solvents are a little friendlier.

Great Idea, would it work better with PLA as of its lower MP.
