Printed it with no problems, assembled it and stuck it to a tin cookie can. Caught mouse the first night. The mouse sat bihind the door still figuring out what went wrong.

:D
happy it worked, can you post photos please? :"D

I'm not seeing the file for the flap that let the mouse in and close the way out. Is it printed at the same time with the file mouse_trap_2.stl? Does not look like an easy print

it is integrated to thw main body, flap is lifted so it wont fuse with rest of a trap and is with printed on hinge. clearance on hinge is 0.3mm and I thing its well more than enought. When slicing you need to pay attention how does layers look like, cura have weird tendency to putting an infill between 2 flat parts that are close to one another but its easily breakable. Just look at layers and make sure there is a clearance, efectivelly a main body of a trap will work like a raft for that flap

Thank you very much for your answer and advices. I'm using Slic3r. I'll try 0.16mm layer heigh

How much would you recommend scaling up for rats? Otherwise I love your design, very creative and I saw the video, works well!

200% would work for my pet rats but they might be smaller than wild one. I would say 200-300 proc should do.

Thank you! We shall see what results we get :)
