A small animal hutch for your small toy animals! My daughter spent the bulk of her birthday money on something similar from a very pink store so I thought I would figure out how to get one working on the cheap in case she wanted another one. This design has 7 pieces and they all fit together snugly without the need for glue. That being said, the walls fit a little too tightly into the base and roof, but that ends up being a good thing. The two doors slide into the hinges and rotate 180° easily. At 50% scale it's a good size for those animals that hatch. Just scale up from there as needed.
I printed all of my pieces at 50%. Any smaller and the hinge will lose geometry at the .02mm resolution.
Bottom - Print upside down so that the legs are standing up. I used supports for this one since there are 6 holes on the bottom for the walls to fit into. I probably didn't need them.
Roof - Print upside down with wall openings facing up, no supports needed.
Walls - Print one of the "Back" files and two of the "Side" files. I printed all three at the same time, no supports needed.
Doors - Print two. I did have supports here for the small gap where the hinge is. It was probably not necessary. However, this actually helps the doors to swing a little more firmly.
