Summary

This is the HSF - Harekaze that was featured in the anime High School Fleet. It is a derivative of the Kagero class destroyer of the Imperial Japanese Navy. It is modeled in 1:270.

--==This is a work in progress, I'll be updating it as I can.==--

Polygons have been added to parts 2, 3, and 4 to give them more structure and so that they can actually print.

The propellers on parts 4 and 5 do not print properly at this scale, I'll add them seperatly

When this one is completed I will be doing the Graf Spee in the same scale for those who are into High School Fleet.

Hi,

This is neat.

scale? is it meant to float?

I am trying to do the Akizuki in 1/72 scale as a rc model, struggling with the hull :(

This is not meant to float, at the moment it is just a model that I am doing some testing with my printer and software.
If you need some help you should take a look at this model, it’s laser cut but it may provide some info.

kagero class hull MOD-A (All compatible)

Hi, thanks Yes I have seen this Kagero. What I am trying to do in fusion360 is do the external hull itself rather than the frames. Then 3d print the hull in (at present 170mm long) sections and glue together. So similar to your method which is what caught my eye but in sized in 1/72 scale and about 1400mm long and rc controlled. My problem is the bows from frame 2 to tip wont model / shape properly.

If you'd like I can send you the full hull without the superstructure and deck hull details in an in an .stl format if that may help you with your project. You'd be able to resize it and rescale it as needed.
