Its not for use, its for design. It is a mock up.

the purpose of these housings is cooling.

they are used for high power resistors or other stuff that gets hot.

i dont think replacing it by a plastic housing is a good idea, it wont cool the part and maybe even melt.


It took 6 weeks to get it, and i havn't even turned it on yet, until I get eye protection, but its the size of a USB drive. I am designing a head mount for it and a fan.
