any solution for the loose cap?

Did you try to put the same case over the transformer on the vertical bar? Can it fit there?

Hi, thanks for the great job. Is your Pi booting with USB supply? I tried to connect it but it doesn't start...

it powered thru the micro USB port i used this to connect to the power supply.

the normal USB is to control the printer.

A little bit tricky to pull the internal support material out, but the design is nice! Also I think cooling could potentially be a problem..

This print needs no support. SD slot side facing down... if you can't bridge it, just put supports on the bed only. There is a remix that gets rid of the tiny little bridge over the SD slot as well. That remix needs absolutely no support. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3526139

Raspberry Pi 3B+ Case for Ender3

Love this, I'm jusing it now, but my Pi get very hot, so I have ordred a heat sink and fan, so I ask, can you make yours higher or a outside mount for a fan? like for this https://www.ebay.com/itm/Retroflag-Nespi-Cooling-Fan-Kit-Dual-Fans-Heatsinks-For-Raspberry-Pi-3-2/222588438383

Printed the case, however, it had some warping as well as the side is missing around the hole for the audio cable. Looking at the STL in Simplify3D and it shows the side is there, but when I do a prepare to print, it's gone. Anyone else have this problem?

Hi thanks for the design, totally new to this. So with this Pi device I can use the USB memory stick to print and no longer need an microSD card anymore right mate ?

No, you print to the printer wireless look here https://octoprint.org/

it should, dimensions are similar but haven't tested.

I also noticed that the end cap was very loose. Maybe parts need to be increased in size slightly?

Agreed! Same here...printed last night and the cap is way too loose

Would be nice if it had a cut out for a Pi Camera cable.

+1 for this. I tried and failed to cut out a place for the cable. However I think it would need something more than a cut out. Where the case meets the RJ45 its a nice snug fit which means the pi + cable cant be slid in.

I made this, but my Pi3 will not fit because of a 3rd party heatsink I had added onto it. Just a heads up if anyone is working with the cana kit. I'll be removing my heatsink tonight to test it out. Great build and design regardless.

I find just a 30 mm fan and minimal heatsink does best. I used the copper sinks.

This is cool. But any way to make it work inside and not have it outside?

Agreed, I think its the wrong approach to extend the PI off the printer side vs tucking it under the bed. There's room, and when it hangs off it could be broken off if moving the printer.

Just move it to the same orientation but on right side rail (so it sits just to the left of the LCD). That is where I put mine.

Raspberry Pi 3B+ Case for Ender3

This case can be used with Raspberry Pi 2B?

Yes, should fit , dimensions are the same as the 3.

How do you print this without supports?

print it standing up on its end.

Are you sure? WIth the hole for the sdcard, there is no bridging, is it?

This should probably be included in the summary. 2 hours in and the top fails. I'm still a noob and should have realized but it would be a nice heads up to others.
