muy buenas he echo esto pero los pines encagan muy bien pero se mueven dentro como puedo solucionarlo

Hi Barb! - It's included with the front of the skull. ...So you can print front and back at same time.

I had to print the pins at 95% with PLA to get them to fit, is this model intended to be printed in ABS?

Kind of wish the two bed faces were slightly concaved/curved inward (supports) so they don't interfere with keeping a tight seam as much. Other than that this is great! I used super glue rather than the clips because I'm using a different mounting method.

Love it! Love to see other results.

With your permission, I would like to print this out to use a prop for a tv series pilot I'm helping make costumes for. Full credit will be given of course :)

very cool.

Thank you for making and sharing.

Thanks! We appreciate it. :D

and ill make sure to give proper credit to you as the original designer. will also put a link to your site with it.

Hey man, is it kool if I make these into dread beads and sell them in my dreadlock faebook group im in? will give you half the profit i make by tipping you on here whenever someone buys one? let me know. thanks. love the design by the way.

tronxy x1 0.6 mm laver, printed greatly, very detailed, printed all those use marks etc. Good one, its just sad that those pieces dont want to come together just like if they would be printed together :/

lol anyone that's wants it in two pieces just use meshmixer and separate shells

I'm new to printing, I tried a few programs I've heard of to do that but I couldn't figure out how to. I'll check meshmixer out. Thank you.

edit Hey, that seems to have done the trick! I need to test my printer some before I dive into it, but thanks again for the suggestion! :D

you can also use Wings 3d, never used meshmixer but wigs do the trick, and its also very easy to make some 3d models by yourself.

Is there any chance you could upload the Skull pieces separately? It unstuck from the print bed right when it was going to start on the beak, so I have the rounded half done. So far the print looks awesome...stupid printer. lol

Thanks for the sweet print, I printed it and colored it and all went well.

Thank You Lisa! We really appreciate you pointing us to this. ~Q

We're totally fine with people selling printed 3DK items, but it's the use of actual 3DK original art that becomes the problem. As you implied, it looks like us, but isn't. --- Again, Thank you.

You're awesome Lisa! thanks for helping the community find these scumbags.

Is it possible to get the skull in 1 pc or pcs in a .step format? or a solidworks format? I have tried some conversion software with no luck, and a stl within solidworks is un usable, trying to use the design for an idea. Thanks Mike

Check out this print to see the slicer settings you should use to get awesome results on this cool raven skull! https://pinshape.com/prints/87-boneheads-raven-skull-kit-promo-3dkitbashcom

It is perfectly printed!

Is it possible to upload a file with the skull on one piece?

can you post a proto type base for the skull?

This made a really nice print from my MakerGear M2. If I could change one thing, it would be to add the file for the shield display.

Hi Will, Thanks for printing the skull! ...The shield display will be available by the end of the month on http://3DKitbash.com3DKitbash.com. ...Probably for a couple of dollars to help support our continued building. Again, thanks for printing and being interested in our work. It helps us stay afloat. :) ~Q

I really like this. The printed result with a creamy white filament is very nice. Not overly accurate. Crows don't tend to have occipital ridges at the top, and the cheek bone at the bottom is usually thinner and longer, but if you made that accurately it would likely be much harder to print.
I've been looking for something like this for ages, and while I could model one myself, I'm usually too busy making toy robots and GI Joe toys with my 3D printer to do any serious sculpting. I would love a similarly scaled seagull skull too!

Printed out, looks nice, but not sure how the connectors go in. Can you put in instructions? I assume the bigger connector is for the plaque piece which we don't have.

Hi Cuda! I have a vid in the gallery area that details the build. You're correct about the large mounting pin being for the Display base. A lot of the skulls will need their own style of Mounting so I figured I should go on an couple this one in with the Raven's pins. ... Instructions will be made for the final versions of Boneheads. ~Q

lol there is always smoothing required :)

Haha. Smoothing can always be applied. ...But not always required. :) Case in point: Quin. I think she looks very presentable without any smoothing.

Jingabar, Thanks for checking this ole' skull out. ~Q

I'll let you know how mine goes, I gloss enamel them (im lazy :) only can do about 22cm long tho, wish my machine was bigger :/
