Summary

Just a simple box with a bunch of cutouts to allow for moisture to be absorbed without allowing for the silica desiccant to able to fall out through the holes.

In my initial print, i found that the lid was a bit too tight, however this was printed at 40mm in size. I shall test with a further print at 60mm (current default in the STL file) and check results again.

If you print one of these out, be sure to report back the results for everyone!

Just started print showing 5 hours :O

This is a very cool box! Prints well and is very sturdy! The fit is too thight tho, i have to use some sand paper to make it fit so i can actuallly reopen it.

Yeah, it's probably worth printing out the lid individually, decreasing the size by a few tenths of a percent. Or sandpaper :)

Could you publish the lid and the box in two stl files this makes it much easier to separate them :-) THANKS

I can only see the lid when I open it in Replicator G? downloaded it a couple of times-Jim

The STL appears to be just the lid.

You might want to reload the STL in whatever program you're using - i just downloaded it and opened it up in repetier, and it contains both the box and the lid.

Plus, the blue rendering above was created by thingiverse from the STL, which shows the two pieces :)

Cheers.

OK Thanks, they both show in Sketchup but not in Makerware desktop 3.1 or 3.2 but that's fine.
