I've designed a pair of hand rest for the JETI dc-14, dc-16, dc-24 series. They fit seamlessly into the calm and clear design language of the JETI tray transmitters.
The attachment is done via the two M4 screws of the carrying handle, as well as with a 3M adhesive pad. For the latter a 1.2 mm recess on the inside of the hand rest is inserted.
The adhesive pads from 3M hold the hand rests firmly, even in high humidity environments and at temperatures above 30°C. They can later be removed using a little ethyl alcohol and a cotton cloth leaving no residue.
I've printed mine with PLA @ 225°C on glass with some slight hairspraying @ 50°C with 50 - 80 mm/s; 3 shells with a 0.5 mm nozzle and extrusion width fixed at 0.5 mm. Of course, w/o raft as the upward facing surface would otherwise be destroyed.
A second set of STL with mickey mouse ears for problematic PLA or for those w/o a heated bed is also available.
When printing with ABS resize the STL to +1,2% (X, Y, Z) in your slicer software to compensate for shrinking.
Out of pure desparation and because weather wasn't good enough for going outside. :-)
