Fits my Linear fob also.

Oh cool! Glad to hear it!

Total S.W. nut!
Great model, thanks retroviral

so you didnt put any pics of the fob itself so we can see what kind it uses... could you add one or two? :)

As you can see from the photo, it was falling apart. A housing for it was a DESPERATE need. :)

ah.. i see now.. i have an awid fob.. not sure i can get it to fit, but im gonna try!! :P

Worth a try! Shouldn't be too hard to make one that would fit it.

hav you ever heard of one of these? i figured it might be worth a try.. i can always return it if it dont work.. https://amzn.to/2I0msCY

oh no... i meant i am going to make it fit in this one :P i will probs cut the corners off and the tab if the circle part dont want to pop out...

Be careful doing that. the RFID antenna inside is extremely delicate. I took a HID ProxKey fob apart and it stopped working. And yeah, I've seen those RFID cloner guns. no clue if they work as advertised though.

ya.. i decided not to tear my current one apart, so i will wait and see if the cloner gun works.. i did see a review on amazon with someone saying that it did work for their AWID keyfob like i have, so maybe it will work :) it comes with a few fobs to program and i will use one of those to try this...

well what do ya know!! something cheap that actually works!! got it in the mail today.. popped in batteries.. turned it on.. hit read.. put a new key up.. hit the write button.. and done!! then went and tested it and it works great!! and came with 10 blanks! so here is the good news.. it does fit in the shape of the falcon.. bad news.. the new one is thicker, but i can scale in the z a bit and will retry!! i will note my ids are AWID and this reader only works with certain types of which AWID is one, and i think HID is... its says it is...

I think the difference between the two is the BIT level of encryption or some such garbage. Glad to hear that device worked for you. That's handy!

how do you join the pieces ?
press fit or glue ?

Glue. Enough to ensure it won't pop open and let the rfid fob fall out.

I can't take credit for the actual space ship design. That was all krapouere. I simply made a pocket inside to hold the RFID fob.

You did a great Job !
