This is a mount for connecting a Samsung 360 Gear camera to a DJI Inspire 1.
It can in theory be used for any small camera of a similar weight and allows it to be mounted to the Inspire 1 Gimbal socket.
In addition to the three parts needed to be printed, you'll also need to purchase a camera thread screw to connect to your camera (you can get these off amazon, eBay or any hardware store)
[If you don't have a 3D printer, please feel free to message me and I can print and send you one for a good price]
Here's some footage from a test flight: https://youtu.be/P6iXjD4W9Ek
The main part needs to be printed in a solid filament. As the camera's aren't heavy, I've been printing in PLA but anything of that strength or better should be fine. Print this with a very high infill of around 80-100%.
Print both washers in a flexible filament (I've been using RigidInk's flexible PLA but I'm sure ninjaflex would be just as good). Print these with at least 4 or 5 top and bottom layers and with an infill of 20-30%
Please note: Whilst this has been printed, tested and heavily used, issues in printing or misuse could lead to damaging the inspire, the camera or both. Please exercise caution and be sensible when using this. Check the strength each time before you fly.
I do not hold any responsibility for loss or damage when in use.
The two washers are to isolate any vibrations from the drone down to the camera. The screw goes through the small washer, through the mount, then through the large washer before being screwed into the camera.
Then fit the mount to your Inspire 1 in the same way you would your X5 gimbal.
