They printed great on my X-Max printer. Got my P4P camera out of the grass!

Hi Chad,
I found this version. Do you know how I can duplicate it? You can email me off here if you want. garypriceomaha@gmail.com

Hey, thanks for uploading this! Is there anyway you can make them longer? So there's more room to add an external camera on the back of drone? Maybe make them 2 or 3 inches tall?

Adding some length is pretty trivial. I just uploaded an alternate version called "Extended_Phantom_Leg.stl". This added 45mm to the length of the legs, extending them close to 3". BUT, Im not sure these will be practical or functional at ALL. It seems reasonably likely that the added length will make them too unstable. Especially if using them just as a friction fit, which is what I was doing. I would absolutely use the zip tie holes if trying them, and even then think your Phantom might be in danger of falling down when it lands.

The original length I posted was, in fact, intended to make an additional camera fit. They are long enough for me to have a fixed thermal camera fitted behind the stock camera that extended JUST past the bottom of the legs, so that a few additional cm were all that were needed. I dont think I would trust these extended legs.

Thanks buddy, ya, that's what I'm aiming for is a thermal camera setup. I also made a design to extend the legs and printed one up. I don't have the camera yet but once I get it, I'll see exactly how much I need and modify it. Thanks for responding so quick!

Oh, I see that stretched version you posted. Does that still clip on to your legs ok? That doesnt seem like the ideal way to do that.

Here is what my phantom looked like with the camera mounted with the legs:

Yes the bottom hooks on fine but the arm doesn't hook as good. When I get my camera I'll just have to see how much clearance I need. Good part is I figured out how to use tinkercad! haha

I'll also post pictures when I'm finished. I'm printing 4 of them right now (it's a 7 hour print!)
