This might be that I don't know how to drive openSCAD - but how do you get it to print AA & AAA together? .. I basically want it to print 2 stacks of AA & 2 stacks of AAA (for rechargeables & non-rechargeables of each - using openSCAD the ["aa", "aaa"] doesn't seem to do it on it's own, but I may just not understand which variables are meant to achieve mixed-sets

Hi, this openSCAD design currently doesn't make mixed AA & AAA stacks. You have to render them separately. For rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries, one easy possibility (although not very elegant) is to print the same file twice in different color and glue them together laterally. Maybe I will implement some kind of modular joining system to bind together different modules in the future. Regards.

This prints great at 0% infill, otherwise it takes over a day to print. My 80 capacity AA went from over 24 hours to 16 hours by changing 10% to 0%. And its still sturdy albeit a little bendy.

This is a really cool design, but when I first saw it without batteries, I was like, "this is a battery holder for ants!!!" But then I saw it with batteries, and had to make one. I remixed it to mount on a wall and added some text to indicate the battery type.

Thanks for posting this!

My remix:

In my Case Customizer dont show up :( i wanna print it

I disabled Thingiverse customizer because it doesn't appear to work properly with my code. You can download some of the .STL's or use OpenSCAD customizer. If you tell me which size you want I can make the STL and upload it for you.

the customiser AAA version dosen't actually seem to be sized for AAA batteries it's still for AA

It seems that Thingiverse customizer doesn't work properly, some options work and some others don't. I recommend you to use OpenSCAD instead that I have tested and works fine.

yeah it seems kinda limited on the options it will change... thanks for the design... my battery drawer is much happier now...
