These are WIP markers for the Too Fat Lardies Game "What A Tanker!"
The idea of the main board is to laminate a blank page of paper, cut to size, superglue it to the back of the board and bang - instant plastic 3D sheet you can write on with fine tipped markers and save some trees!
Sure you could print the sheet and laminate but but c'mon....BOOOOORING.
Three Dee. 3D man....
I have considered perhaps spray painting the board in the colour of the various nations but this might lead to too many boards and their not being usable all the time so instead I may just add a number to the board to link it to each of the tanks.
Or maybe print out say six and spray paint in two colours for two teams...but again what if there's three players. I may just spray paint them all silver, add some rust finishes and ink and leave it at that.
The Universal Tanker Tool is included as well as numbers 1 through 12 - these can be printed in a larger and smaller size, the larger one being to place in a bag to take out randomly (again you are invited to paint the numbers on them and perhaps print the marker in a striking colour or spray paint it in gloss, too) and again do another run with smaller counters to place next to each tank model for easy ID.
Took me about six hours to do these and they were a lot of fun. I am developing a passion for 3D printing and trying my hand at new designs as well as giving back to the community that's filled my tables with amazing 3D printed terrain and models, mostly from this site, and felt it appropriate to share this evening's effort .
Soon as my own printer is back up and running I'm going to print this out and put up some photos of it in use, as well as tinker with it further if it needs any modifications.
If someone else does print it PLEASE give me some feedback as I'm new to this (particularly with the gapping, alignment, scripting and of course lettering which I can never quite seem to get right first time).
An ongoing project for now therefore, hope someone finds some enjoyment out of it.

Too Fat Lardies produces my favourite rulesets (Chain of Command, IABSM, Sharp Practice to name a few...) and pretty much everything they put I find worthwhile playing, guaranteed to be easy to pick up and provide endless good fun. The rules could really be written a tad clearer, but the power of the internet means it's almost like having the Lardies themselves on call with forum posts, videos, an active community and FAQ documents and what the heck - worse comes to worse you can always write them an email (though this hasn't been necessary yet it's good to know they're around!)
Their latest release is a great little action game called What A Tanker! for which this board is designed.
Most of all please go buy Richard and the team a pint (it's the price of one of their Pint Sized Campaigns though for a whole ruleset you'll have to buy a round)
