Hi there, this is my first upload to Thingiverse... how exciting!
Basically, I couldn't find a chlorine dispenser that was as good as one that finally fell apart on me, so I made this one by borrowing from the design of my now defunct dispenser. I've designed it so that it will print without supports and I recommend reducing infill to 10% or less to improve floatation and save on filament. How far below 10% you can go will depend on how good your printer is at bridging so that it can lay down the last few layers. I have printed this only once at 10%.
All that remains now is to see how well PLA stands up to intense solar radiation and constant exposure to chlorine and water :)
The dispenser comes in 3 parts and is sized to fit the standard Cl tablets we get in Spain.
- Cl Dispenser v10.stl - Main body (100% scale)
- Cl Dispenser - Top.stl - Screw Cap (scale to 98% for a better fit)
- Cl Dispenser - Bottom.stl - Dispenser flow adjuster (99.5% scale to give some resistance on the thread so it stays in place.)
