The left-hand mount does require the screen to be tiled back at a steeper angle (or else it hits the print head during homing). I have updated both of the left mount files and am printing a test now. Once I can confirm the new designs work, I will remove the "in progress" status.

Now with thicker wall to prevent flex when pressing encoder knob. I also added rounded edge to SD holder to prevent breaking at connection to frame with repeated pushing of SD card in and out.
The display mount on the stock Ender 3 is bent at a angle not quite right for my setup. I decided to design a mount that has the screen at 45 degrees and decided while I was doing that, I would also design the mount to be used on the left-hand side of the printer (getting rid of the need to rout the cable under the bed). I also decided to add in a mount/hole for a MicroSD to SD extender.
I have uploaded designs for both right- and left-hand mounts, with and without SD Card slots, and also a black mount with no additional holes so you can easily remix as you wish.
I am still thinking about adding a small hinge at the top with a screen cover that can be printed and popped into place when you wish to cover the bright screen. Let me know in the comments if that is a mod worth working on (my printers are in a different room so the light does not affect anyone if printing overnight).
For a back panel, I use the Enclosure design by Rocco81-92: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2858209.
The end of the 404 extrusion will now be exposed. You can print a the cap designed by Bobnet (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1758728) to give a cleaned look.
