Always happy to see new vape related designs. If you don't mind I would like to offer just a little advice. Either design in or design the battery tray for each mod. If you are sizing it off an existing battery tray, put a link to it. There are so many good designs that either don't have the tray designed in nor do they tell you which one will work. I have wasted a lot of time and material trying to find one that works or modifying one to work.
Most 510 connectors only require a 10mm hole for mounting and most switches are a 12mm hole but there are a few that are a 16mm hole. These can always be changed by the user if they know how but using these measurements would benefit the highest amount of users without having to make changes.

Thanks for taking your time to make these designs. It's great that you are willing to share your designs with everyone.

Thank you so much for your feedback! I hadn't really considered a battery tray, I was just basing my design off of what I have laying around my desk, my buttons are 15mm, and I was just planning on buying all my connectors from ebay and gluing them down inside the case. I truly appreciate the feedback you gave me because I love learning, and I love sharing my work with others. I will continue to modify and release more designs in the future, and now I know more about the materials that I will be working with. If there are any more customization you would like to see done to this mod or anything related then please let me know because I'd love to contribute more to the community.

Glad to hear you are open to the advice. I can honestly say that the biggest issue I have had is with battery sleds. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful that people are sharing their designs and hard work but it's a little frustrating when you get the part made and can't get batteries to fit. It may be something that some designers don't think of or already have a sled that want to use but do not mention or link to that sled. Any design is helpful to the community and I do appreciate them all, this is just the one area where I see a lot of potential for improvement.

Thanks for your hard work and contributions to the community.

Glad to contribute! Also, how much space would you recommend to leave above the battery(s) to accommodate all the necessary electronics, or what space would be recommended if I wanted to accommodate squonking? Please inbox me if you want to help me optimize my projects for the future, I'm pretty new to this.

The Keystone 209/228 generally need about 4mm space to account for the contact and wire, at least in my experience. Leaving more room would be better for having room for the MOSFET or other electronics and if the 510 is directly above the batteries you would need more along the lines of 10-12mm. Different 510s have different size requirements for sqonking. The hole will still be 10mm round but the connector itself could drop down as much as 18mm. I think if you leave the same space under the hole for the 510 as you would leave for a single 18650 will get you in the ballpark for the connector and bottle. I would be happy to work with you on your designs. I'm not great for building from scratch but I have done a lot of modifying other designs.

That sounds perfect. I'm great at building from scratch but I need help modifying my designs. I'll take what recommendations you have given me so far and refine my models. I can't wait to see how this pans out.
