For these masks (any of them) what is the best orientation to print? I was thinking upside down with supports?

I've printed them as shown with only supports around the brim. No supports in the middle at all.

awesome work. will these print without support? I have it printing now with support and its a 30 hour print.

You need supports for the cheeks and eyes. However you dont need supports in the center of the cowl.

Really? That seems like a lot of close to horizontal building on the very top to not have support. I'll give it a shot though. saves tons of time.
Thanks for the response and awesome model

Awesome. Can you please upload a .sldprt or .iges? I need to break it up into four parts. Thanks!

I will add a .sldprt today.

awesome!! printing scaled

One of my work mates is interested in this one, but I am unsure of how to scale it appropriately, so in the maker-spirit I would rather ask than fail on a long print.

The kids head has a circumference of 51.5 cm

It goes without saying that I will absolutely post photos of the printing process, finished product and little happy boy with said mask on.

Help him be the talk of the Kindergarden :)

I'm printing now. At 4%. I think it's mostly just support materials. Haha. How did your print turn out?

You say diameter, but then you said ear to ear. Is this measurement the full circle diameter of the head?

When I say diameter I mean actual diameter of the head. If you measure straight across it would be 130mm. Full circle (or circumference) would be 408 mm (16 inches).

Haha. You're right. I forgot the definition of diameter. :)
