I was inspired by https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2761352 and added the rebuild my own touch.
- Choose what you like there are two versions, a sturdy and a slim one.
The shot is designed so that the squashball snaps into place with little effort. The screw holes are recessed and the entire construction is somewhat more stable.
During installation, it should be noted that the guides can only be fitted into the 2020 profiles with a little effort or you may sand lightly with the file. This way the new feet already hold well without screwing. However, it is not recommended to leave out the screws. I use the yellow-double point squash balls and the resulting height is almost the originals of the CR10S, maybe 1mm lower. Depending on the squash ball, this can vary minimally, especially with harder balls (red dot).
A total of 8x M5x12mm Allen screws with washers and M5 T-head nuts are required for assembly.
If other drillings or whatever are desired I upload the Fusion360 file to customize it yourself.
I have had success with the prototype with 10% infill, but here no long-term experience.
On the safe side I printed with 3 walls and 5 top and bottom layers at 50% infill.
