Cool I'm actually looking for something like this for my Printer. Also can you share a picture of it on your printer please.

Hi I have just dug out 2 pictures I had of it on my MK2 and added them to the pictures on Thingiverse, my son has my MK2 now and I have an MK3 :) so I didn't have it here to take some better ones.

The bracket is quite light and most web cams don't weigh to much either, The bed frame on the Prusa is quite solid so there is no movement. I never had any problems with it any way.

Also the bracket and Cam move with the bed, so this creates a good time-lapse video as the object you are printing remains static.

Thanks so much :) for that and for making probably the best looking Webcam mount on thingiverse for a Prusa. Its cool that you got your son into 3d printing.
Any software suggestions for doing a time lapse?

Thanks, I should have put it up last year when I made it, but only really just had the time and confidence to put up some of my own designs this week.

For the time-lapse I use Octopi running on a Raspberry Pi B It is very easy to setup and get going so don't be put off if you are not used to doing that sort of thing. Many people here that can help. Octopi has time-lapse built in when you add a web cam, but you can also get a plugin (Software) for it called Octolapse that is supposed to be very good. Here is an ezample of Octolapse https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYbWfBCLNbI

Alright thanks man
