This is the mount for the Petcube Play camera. It is angled at an 18 degree incline to give the best view from higher up. When the camera is facing forward, you miss half the room and get more of the ceiling, so I decided to make my own mount!
Make your wall thickness thicker than normal, because you will need to be able to grip into the filament with the screw.
Connecting to camera
-cutting devise (cutting screw to be 23/32 [0.71875] inches long)
-Tap- if wanted, but not needed, because it is designed to be able to just screw into the plastic.
-Place 3/16 washer in the indent of print and screw in the 1/4-20 screw through the petcube play and the 3d printed mount.
I didn't want to spend $20 on there tripod, so i decided to make my own for 58 cents. I used the iphone protractor to calculate the best angle for the camera and then added that into the known knowledge of the petcube play being 3"X3"X3". From there, i designed what became the finished product.
