Hey! Looks like an awesome model and I think I will print it soon. One thing I may suggest is putting a hole on the bottom of the drill shaft so that debris from the drywall can fall into the bucket and not make a mess. The way it is, it appears to be difficult to catch debris. Look like an awesome print though.

Indeed there is a hole. See picture 3.
You may modify source code to make it larger to what you desired.

I tried changing the parameters in openSCAD but it seems that the thickness in the front plate (the one opposite the crosshair) is fixed at 3mm.

I didn't. My printer is able to print bridge quite well.

Installing some software for just one print is like, idk

There are a lot of designs that are customizable.You will use OpenSCAD in other designs, and you will be able to modify those as your own

If you 3D print, you should install OpenSCAD, even if you never design with it (though that is probably easier than you think). It's free, it's multi-platform, and to generate STL from this file all you will need to do is load the .scad file into OpenSCAD, then select "Render" from the Design menu (or press F6), and then "Export as STL" from the File menu.

This file is well-documented, you will be able to easily change the drill hole size and other parameters to meet your exact requirements.

Please generate it by yourself with Customizer app.

Since the guide actually sticks out further than the dust collector cup... doesn't that mean the sawdust will mostly miss it and fall on the floor?

There is a hole at the root of the guide, so most dust will come out from there. And it's able to customize collector_height to make it larger than guide_height.
