PackWrap is a fully customizable wrap for your LiPo packs. Printed in TPU or a similarly flexible but tough material, the PackWrap prints flat with no need for supports. Once printed simply fold the PackWrap into a four-sided box - integrated rivets help the PackWrap hold its shape!
The PackWrap is fully customizable to fit almost any battery. A slot for your battery strap helps guarantee a tight hold, as your strap holds the battery directly - not a slippery TPU case! An integrated front bumper helps protect your LiPo pack from head-on impacts, while the side walls keep it safe from prop strikes. Additional bottom protection means your can feel confident landing on rough terrain - even pull of slide maneuvers!
Use the Thingiverse Customizer to input your battery dimensions, customize wall thickness, bumper size, even your strap width, then export and print your perfect PackWrap and get flying!
Experiment with base/wall thickness in the customizer as well as your print settings to find the feel you want.
Printing the default model, I used five top and bottom layers and 5% full honeycomb infill. This made my walls pretty much solid while leaving the bumper with a little bit of give.
After printing simply flip the PackWrap over so the smooth flat side is up, fold up the front and sides, and insert the tabs into the holes.
The PackWrap is designed so that the battery connections exit the rear open area (see photos for intended battery orientation).
